What You'll Do:

  • Hands-On Testing: Manually perform end-to-end tests to confirm our software works exactly as expected and find any bugs before our users do.

  • Plan Our Quality Strategy: You will take the lead in planning, prioritizing, and coordinating the testing for our software.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product and technical teams to define requirements, test cases (TC) and create clear test plans linking TCs to requirements.

  • Drive Documentation: Create and manage all necessary testing and release documentation to meet our quality and regulatory standards.

  • Improve Our Processes: Actively look for ways to make our testing and validation processes better, participate in risk assessments, and assist with internal and external audits, and management of non-conformities, CAPAs, and software issues.

 

Required skills and experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer, ideally in a regulated environment.

  • Experience in Cloud environments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Independent reasoning and critical thinking skills.

  • Independent planning of the various parts of a software-development lifecycle, acceptance testing, and validating changes for releases.

  • A can-do attitude and passion for web technologies.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a CI/CD environment (e.g. Jenkins).

  • Experience working with medical software, for example Clinical Trials management, medical image processing, or Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and familiar with GDPR, HIPAA regulations, etc.

  • Experience in the software development life cycle in a regulated environment  (e.g. IEC 62304, IEC 82304, ISO 13485:2016, 21 CFR FDA Part 820, or 21 CFR FDA Part 11).
